Text Box: Welcome The Grove City Food Pantry and Emergency Services offers temporary food assistance and emergency financial assistance to area residents who qualify. The organization is comprised of all volunteers and focuses on meeting the needs of the hungry and those facing a financial emergency. The organization is supported by the Southwest Christian Ministerial Association, local churches, and the Grove City community . A new way to benefit the Food Pantry & Emergency Svcs! Use your Kroger Rewards card and each time you scan it YOU save and Kroger donates $ to our organization. Our NPO # is 84117. In 2008, the Food Pantry: • Served 8,096 people from 2,235 households • 8,940 bags of food , enough for 72,864 meals This is an increase of 25% from 2007 Since June 2008, the Food Pantry: • 0f the people served – 41% are age 1yr—17yrs 53% are ages 18—59 yrs and 6% are 60 and over. • Averaging 215 households served each month FOOD PANTRY HOURS: Monday through Friday 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Last two Saturdays of the month 10:00 am - Noon Or by appointment Website created by a volunteer, for questions or concerns, please contact webmaster@grovecityfoodpantry.org.

The Emergency Services through November 2008:

Provided emergency financial assistance to 176 families

Emergencies involved rent, house payments, utility bills,

temporary lodging, etc.
