Volunteering
The Grove City Food Pantry is always in need of volunteers. From picking up food, to sorting food, to stocking the store, and running the store, we always need volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, please follow the link below.
Positions
Food Distribution Workers:
These positions consist of assembling boxes of food to then distribute to our clients. Volunteers will be asked to load groceries onto pantry carts and into client cars. We may also request other small organizational, or stocking tasks as needed. Volunteers are needed Monday through Thursday from 11:30am to 2:30pm. Times are flexible.
Pantry Pick-up/Sorting Volunteers:
In order to stock the store, there must be enough food in the back of the pantry. We pick up donations from a variety of local stores. These donations then need weighted, sorted, and put away.
Occurs every Monday and Thursday from 9:00am - 11:00am
On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, we pick up smaller loads from certain stores. Either a single person or a team of a few people will be responsible for picking up the food in their vehicle and weighing the food. This is a constant need.
